'The site is shown on the OS 1st Edition as a univallate enclosure by the 2nd Edition it is shown as being only partially extant with the enclosing bank only surviving fully on the north-western side. The site is located on sloping ground providing excellent views of the Sliabh Mis, particularly Scotia's Glen, to the south and Tralee Bay to the south-west. Today the site is still visible, located at the corner of a field, the bank traceable all round the site but best preserved on the northern and north-western sides. The earth and stone bank at north-west is 2m wide, 0.65m high internally and 0.45m high externally, elsewhere the flattened out bank is wider, 3m, and on average 0.4m high internally and externally. There are no internal features, definitive entrance or evidence for a ditch. Indeed, the sloping nature of the land outside the site would suggest it never had a ditch. The internal area measures 17m in diameter.'
