The National Monuments Service's description
'This low mound measured 5.65m by 2.40m and was composed of layers of fire cracked stones clay, charcoal stained soil, charcoal and ash. An irregular cut 1.10m by 0.60m and 0.30m deep filled with burnt material was uncovered as were three small stakeholes filled with soil flecked with charcoal. There was, again, no evidence of in situ burning. The irregular cut may have served as a small trough though no lining was recovered.'
