The National Monuments Service's description

Located within a farmyard and probably built in fairly recent times as an outbuilding. A circular hut, the walls rising vertically for 1.45m externally and .85m internally before being corbelled inwards to form the roof. D: 2.4m. H: 2.4m. T: .94m.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1408. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
