Internal diameter 34m N-S, 33.4m E-W
This bivallate rath is situated on rising pastureland and has a good view of the surrounding land. Immediately SW lies a now-disused quarry. This site consists of a circular area enclosed by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank has been much levelled and only survives N to E to SE; barely distinguishable, it rises to c .6m high. The fosse is only visible where the two banks exist and it is c 5m wide. The inner bank, though much levelled, is better preserved than the outer bank and rises to 1.1m internally and 2m externally. The entrance may have been to the NE, where there is a c 9m wide gap in the outer bank. On both sides the outer bank curves in towards the inner bank.
