The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diameter c. 34m N-S
This univallate rath is marked on the 1841-42 OS map, but it does not appear on the later edition. However, sections of this rath survive today to the NW through N to NE, and a small section of bank to the S. A trackway runs along the SW to W side and a small rectangular field cuts through the N, W and S side. A small stream runs immediately to the N in an E-W direction. The surviving bank to the N is 3m-8m wide and rises to a maximum of 2m externally. To the N the bank rises to 1m above the interior and to the S to .6m.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 628. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
