The National Monuments Service's description
This large bivallate enclosure appears on the 1841-42 OS map. It also appears on the 1916 edition, though the outer bank is not marked. This site shows up quite clearly on the Geological Survey of Ireland’s aerial photographs (!974), but has since been levelled.
The above description is derived from Toal C. (compiler) ‘The North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority. (1995) no. 569. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
