The National Monuments Service's description
The Kerry Field Club visited this souterrain system in 1939. The souterrain system lies behind a holy well (908), and today access is gained by stepping over the well and proceeding through a tunnel which leads one into a chamber. The chamber is 1.82m high x 1.2m in diameter and is sub-circular. The main passage branches into two, which widen at several places. The tunnel has collapsed in places and many blind tunnels and nooks exist off the main passage.
