The National Monuments Service's description
Situated S of a possible burial ground (KE013-013----), circular univallate cahir KE013-015---- has a good view of the surrounding land. The circular area is enclosed by a low, wide stone bank.
In the S sector of the internal area are what appear to be two openings to a souterrain (KE013-015001-), which is now blocked up.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 811. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
