The National Monuments Service's description
This site is situated in a large pasture. Originally there was a well near the site, but this has been completely covered. This site consists of an oval-shaped mound measuring 9.45m NE-SW, 13.75m NW-SE and rises to a height of .6m above the surrounding land.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 56. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
