The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diameter 33.6m N-S
Situated in the corner of a field, this site has been cut on its W side by a fieldbank running NNE-SSW. No surface trace of the remainder of the site survives to the W of this fieldbank. All that remains of this now much levelled univallate rath is a semi-circular raised area that rises to 1m above the surrounding land. A very slight exterior fosse can be noted for 19m to the NE to E. It is 2m wide and .3m deep.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 440. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
