Internal diameter 27.6m N-S, 26.4m E-W
Situated immediately S of Lynch's house on pastureland, this univallate rath is enclosed by a bank of earth and stone morphology. The external side of the bank NE through W to SW has been stone faced by Mr Lynch's father to protect the fort from the cattle. The external height of the bank varies from lm-1.5m and on average the internal height measures .8m. The bank has been broken by cattle and no definite entrance can be noted. According to Mr Lynch, underground passages (KE005-028001-) were found immediately NW of this site in his father's time. However, they are not evident today. On the interior side of the N sector is a small mound (KE005-028002-), 1.8m x 2.4m externally.
