The National Monuments Service's description

In April 1987, a long cist containing an inhumation burial was discovered during drainage works for new County Council houses. At least one complete skeleton was found lying approximately south-west/north-east, with the head to the south-west. It appeared to have been fully extended. Excavation revealed two further successive inhumation burials comprising of a lintel grave overlying an unprotected inhumation. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol 2, 36-41)
