The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diameter 21m N-S, 20m E-W
Lisnaparka/Lios na Páirce (ringfort of the field). Situated on gently sloping pastureland in front of Griffin's house, a good view is afforded in all directions. This site consists of a circular area enclosed by an earthen bank. The bank measures .8m externally and .5m above the interior; the width of the bank at the base measures 5m. To the NW a modern opening has been cut into the bank, and the NW sector of the interior of the bank has been disturbed and used for dumping and burning. To the SE there is a 5.5m wide gap providing access to the interior.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 249. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
