The National Monuments Service's description

Depicted on the 2nd ed. OS 6-inch map (1914) as a roughly square area (31m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by a field boundary SSW-N and by a scarped edge N-SSW. It is immediately to the W of a small river tributary and is not depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map (1841). This may possibly be a small field.
