The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diameter 33m N-S, 31m E-W
This circular univallate rath is situated on a rise with a good view of the surounding area. The enclosing earthen bank rises to a height of 1.7m externally, .9m internally and the average width of the bank at the base is c5m. Three gaps to the NE, SE and W, measuring 3m, 2m and 3m in width respectively, provide access to the interior.
