The National Monuments Service's description
Described in the Urban Survey (Bradley et. al. 1986, 284) as a ‘large undecorated circular granite basin (dims. H 0.44m; diam. 0.68m) lying upside down on pathway on S side of church. It has a side drainage hole'.
