The National Monuments Service's description
Described in the Urban Survey (Bradley et. al. 1986, 284) as an ‘octagonal undecorated limestone font (dims. H 0.6m; Diam. 0.66m; basin dims. D 0.18m; diam. 0.5m) in the nave of the church (KD037-017003-). Crudely carved. The basin is straight sided and shallow and it has a drainage hole’ (Fitzgerald 1899-1902, 244).
