The National Monuments Service's description
The remains consist of the lower courses of roughly coursed limestone walls. The nave (dims. 13.2m x 7.3m) has opposed entrances and a chancel attached at the E (dims. 9.2m x 4.5m). There are two chapels: The Fitzgerald mortuary chapel (KD037-017017-) (dims. 5m x 3.1m) at the W side of the nave, and a Lady Chapel (KD037-017018-) (dims. 6.8m x 3.7m) at the N. It is first mentioned in a list of Deaneries of Dublin c. 1270-80 (Gilbert 1897, 145), and is listed in an ecclesiastical taxation of 1302-6 (Sweetman 1875, 85 v p. 243), and later belonged to Graney. A royal visitation in 1615 noted church and chancel in good repair (IHS 1941, 49) but were ruinous by 1630 (IHS 1941b, 95). (Bradley et al. 1986 vol. 3, 281-7)
