The National Monuments Service's description
Lies just NNE of the NE corner of a church (KD029-005001-), in a graveyard (KD029-005004-), in the SW sector of a possible early ecclesiastical enclosure (KD029-005002-). A moss and lichen covered sub-rectangular granite block (L 0.85m; Wth 0.73m: H 0.4m) with rounded corners, contains a deep rectangular mortice (L 0.38m; Wth 0.28m; D 0.26m). A plain granite cross (KD029-006----) erected on the roadside c. 850m to the E may have originally stood on this base.
