The National Monuments Service's description

In 1967, human remains, discovered when a field bank was bulldozed, were investigated by the National Museum of Ireland. Further burials were discovered in situ and appeared to be extended inhumations, orientated E-W, in unlined graves. No finds were recovered in association with the burials, but a medieval potsherd (13th to 15th-century) was recovered from disturbed earth nearby. The burials were in the immediate vicinity of a possible nunnery (KD027-025----) and may form part of an associated graveyard. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol 2, 484)
