Prominently sited on the Redhills, in mixed pasture and tillage, with panoramic aspect in all directions except to the W where higher ground rises less than 50m away from the monument. A low but well-defined, sub-circular, multivallate ringbarrow with three enclosing banks and two intervening fosses (ext. diams. 45.3m E-W; 41m N-S). A relatively small, sub-circular, central area (diams. 7m N-S; 6.5m E-W) is defined by a low, earthen, inner bank (int. H 0.2-0.3m; Wth 2.5m at N-5.1m at E; ext. H 0.3m), a shallow fosse (av. Wth 2m; D 0.2m), a middle bank (int. H 0.2m; Wth 3m at S-6m at E) which has been seriously poached by livestock SW-W-NW, a second fosse (av. Wth 2m; D 0.3m), and by a third, outer bank (int. H 0.3m at N-1m at W; av. Wth 6.5m; ext. H 0.3-0.6m). The monument is virtually covered in thistles.
