The National Monuments Service's description
In level tillage at the N-foot of the Redhills. A heavily overgrown, circular area (diam. 31m) is defined by a substantial earthen bank (int. H 0.9-1.8m; Wth 5.5m at W-7m at E; ext. H 2.8m), and by an outer fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 1.1-1.8m) SSW-N-SE, which is partially dug out to form a livestock watering pond at E, and which is disturbed by a minor road skirting the monument SE-SSW. A shallow drain (Wth 1.2m; D 0.2-0.4m) is dug inside the bank along the S. A gap in the bank at ESE (Wth 5m) may be an enlarged original entrance, and while there is no corresponding causeway, the fosse is partially dug out in this area.
