The National Monuments Service's description

According to the OSL (Herity 2002, 23 (67)), 'The graveyard in which (the church, KD019-026001-) stood, has a burial ground fallen into disuse.' In 1939, Price (1935-45, 198-9) noted at least ten skeletons, orientated E-W and without grave goods, which had just been discovered in a sand-pit there. The pit was subsequently filled in and the ground surface levelled, and there are no visible surface traces of the graveyard, which may have lain in a ecclesiastical enclosure (KD019-026003-). Near the S end of a narrow but moderately steep-sided pasture ridge. Two cist burials (KD019-0009---- and KD019-058----) were also discovered in the immediate vicinity.
