The National Monuments Service's description
Set into the S wall of the chancel of Leixlip church (KD011-004003-). A round-headed slab (dims. H 0.86m; Wth 0.48m) with much of the surface flaked away. Decorated in low relief with a skull and crossed bones below an equal-armed cross and an incised inscription in Roman capitals: 'HERE LIETH THE/ BURIAL PLACE OF/ HENRY …/ MAY'. There are a few letters below the skull: 'T…N..O' (Bradley et al. 1986 vol. 3, 318).
