The National Monuments Service's description

On the higher, N end, of a short, low spur at the centre of an early monastic enclosure (KD006-005001-). A roughly oval area (diams. c. 60m NW-SE; c. 45m NE-SW) is defined by a low, overgrown, but well-built, cross-capped, mortared stone wall, inside of which a grass path runs around the perimeter. The enclosing element may follow an older, Early Christian enclosure line. Ashlar-piered gates at SW give access and the legible grave markers date from the 18th and 19th century, and are concentrated to W, N and E of the medieval church (KD006-005003-) in the S sector. An ogham stone (KD006-005002-) was found in the NE sector (CUCAP ATA028, 1967; AYR049/050, 1969).
