The National Monuments Service's description

On the SW-facing slope of a low ridge, overlooking an area liable to flooding to the SE. Very poorly preserved roughly circular cashel (diam. 38m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (base Wth 2.5m; Wth at top 1.2m; H 0.7m)that is overlain by a field boundary from SSE to WSW. A gap (Wth 1.6m) at W, stone-faced on the S side, may be original.
