The National Monuments Service's description
Part of the monastic complex at Kilmacduagh and located c. 12m to the SW of ‘O'Heynes Monastery’ (GA128-034011-). Apart from the S gable which survives almost intact, only the lower courses of the W and E side-walls and the N gable remain of this rectangular building (13.3m NNE-SSW; 5.3m WNW-ESE). There is a flat-headed doorway in the S gable above which a single-light round-headed window of 15th-C date is visible. Harbison (1975, 95) refers this building as a church 'of uncertain date'. However, its alignment and the position of the window suggest that it may have been a domestic building associated with the adjacent abbey.
