The National Monuments Service's description
On 'Rose Hill' in grassland. The M18 now runs immediately to the SE. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subcircular enclosure (c. 36m N-S; 32m E-W; c. 59m max. N-S); partially levelled by the time of the 1921 edition when the bank is only indicated from ESE to NNW. No visible surface trace survives. However, its outline is visible on the OSi Orthophoto. According to local information, the monument was levelled c. 1980. The cartographic evidence suggest it was a rath.
