The National Monuments Service's description

On the summit of a NE-SW ridge in an area of grassland and tillage. Marked on the 1838 and 1922 editions of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure cut by a NE-SW running field boundary at NE and S. On inspection in June 1973 only the section to the NW of the field boundary survived of this oval rath (c. 31m NE-SW). It was defined by a low bank of earth and stone (SMR file). The current OSi aerial imagery indicates that this section of the rath still survives. It is overgrown with trees and bushes.
