The National Monuments Service's description
In level farmland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (43.7m E-W; 39.2m N-S) defined by a bank. A gap (Wth 2.2m) at WSW may be original. A wedge-shaped intramural chamber (GA122-018002-) incorporated into the enclosing element at NNE is possibly an animal shelter. There is a souterrain (GA1122-018----) in the NW quadrant of the interior. (Killanin and Duignan 1967, 300; Weir 1980, 150)
