The National Monuments Service's description
Some 50m NE of Cill Ghobnait (GA120-002001-). A circular shell midden (D c. 11m), some 3m in thickness, composed of periwinkle, limpet and animal bones. Completely removed in 1974 for use as dressing on the island's main road. (Topgr. Files, UCG)
