The National Monuments Service's description
On a N-facing slope in undulating grassland. This irregularly shaped enclosure (c. 75m E-W; c. 70m N-S) is defined by an earthen bank and external fosse. Traces of internal stone-facing are evident on the bank at E and SSW. The fosse only survives from WSW to ENE. A laneway skirts the monument from E to SSW. Numerous gaps in the bank appear to be modern. The N half of the interior is 2m lower than the S half.
