The National Monuments Service's description
In level pastureland. This impressive well-preserved subcircular rath (diam. 60m) is defined by three banks of earth and stone and three fosses. There is a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 2.5m) at E, which Westropp (1919, 181-2) suggests is modern. The interior is uneven and the entire monument is planted with trees and partly overgrown. There are two souterrains (GA114-109001- and GA114-109002-) in the interior. (McCaffrey 1952, 285, no. 7)
