The National Monuments Service's description

Foundation lines occur to E and W of Teampall na Ceathrair Álainn (GA110-086001-). To W are the grassed-over lines of a rectangular building (E-W: L 8.3m, Wth 6m ext.) with a possible doorway at N. It contains one grave-marker. To E, H-shaped foundations (N-S: L 4.1m, Wth 1.9m) may represent a building with an internal division. Also to E are two enigmatic jamb-stones, perhaps marking the doorway of a third structure. (Barry 1886, 491)

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
