The National Monuments Service's description
At the E end of the church (GA110-086001-) but not centrally placed against it. This graveyard (4.3m N-S; 3.4m E-W) is delimited by drystone masonry (H 0.85m; Wth 0.5m) on the N, E and S sides. Within it a roughly rectangular area (3.1m N-S; 2.8m E-W) contains five plain fragmented slabs (L 1.84m; Wth 0.48-0.6m) that are set almost contiguously. A low kerb runs between the slabs and the church wall. It protrudes out from under the S wall of the church and appears to consist of a single massive slab (L 2.7m) which is broken in two places. The area between the kerb and the church is roughly paved. According to O’Donovan the enclosed area was called ‘Leaba an Cheathrair aluinn’ by the islanders (O’Flanagan 1927, Vol. 3, 371) but this name is appended to another feature on the OS 6-inch maps c. 133m to the WSW (see GA110-085003-).
