The National Monuments Service's description
This is one of four cross-slabs (see also GA110-023021-, GA110-023023- and GA110-023024-) now associated with St Brecan’s Grave (GA110-023009-); it is the second cross-slab from the S. It was found by Petrie in 1822 in Teampall Bhreacáin (GA110-010001-) (Waddell 1973, 21, no. 12). It consists of a rectangular slab (H 0.82m; Wth 0.38m; T 0.12m) bearing an incised cross potent with ornamented rolls in each quarter. The cross rises from a roughly rectangular base. An inscription running across the shaft reads: TOMAS AP[STAL], a dedication to Thomas the Apostle (ibid.). (Westropp 1895, 253; Crawford 1913, 154 (i); Higgins 1987, 372, no. 92)
