The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight rise in undulating pastureland. This fairly well-preserved enclosure (96m N-S; 71m E-W), roughly trapezoidal in plan and narrowing towards SE, is defined by an earthen bank and external fosse; the latter is only evident along the W side. An earthen bank which crosses the interior from ENE to WSW may be associated. Another field boundary runs across it from NNW to SSE. (McCaffrey 1952, 241, no. 102)
