The National Monuments Service's description
McCaffrey (1952, 237-8) noted ‘three rectangular house sites’ within the E half of the interior of the rath (GA104-181----), one of which measured ‘64’ [19.5m] x 32’ [9.7m] overall, walls 3’[0.9m] wide and 2’ [0.6m] high’. On inspection in February 1983 three subrectangular features noted at NE, SE and SW may correspond to these houses.
