The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in undulating pastureland. This rectangular structure (10m E-W; 7m N-S; H 2m) is constructed of grassed-over mortared stone walls. It slopes steeply on all sides and particularly on the W side. The interior is filled with rubble. Possibly the remains of a castle. (McCaffrey 1952, 221, no. 3)
