The National Monuments Service's description
In level grassland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 192, no. 118) as a circular 'Earthen fort' (diam. c. 74m) defined by a bank with a stone revetment. Within the E sector of the interior was a house site (GA103-112001-). Apart from a low stony bank (L 4m) at W, which may indicate the line of the enclosing element, no visible surface trace of the monument survives. Field-clearance rubble has been piled on top of it. Another rath (GA103-112002-/GA113-094----) lies immediately to the SW.
