In flat pastureland, sloping gently towards the S. This subcircular cashel (50m E-W; 42m N-S), in fair condition, is defined by a substantial double-faced drystone wall. There is a well-defined entrance gap (Wth 1.8m) at SE. The interior is divided into two almost equal halves by a (?)natural scarp (H 1.5m) running from WSW to NNE. There is a souterrain (GA113-094001-) in the NW quadrant of the interior and the foundations of four house sites (GA113-094002- to GA113-094005-) are also visible. A field walls cuts across the monument from NE to SE. (McCaffrey 1952, 268, no. 5)
