The National Monuments Service's description

On a hill summit in undulating grassland. Subcircular rath (N-S 31.5m, ENE-WSW 26.5m), in fair condition, defined by a low bank, and from NW through N to ENE by a scarp. There is a gap (Wth 2.8m) at SE. Within the interior, there is a large almost square depression (L 6.6m, Wth 6.3m) at NE and a probable souterrain (GA099-071001-) at N.
