The National Monuments Service's description

In level woodland. Marked as hachured enclosure on the OS 6-inch maps but McCaffrey (1952, 166, no. 17) regarded it as a possible natural hillock in bogland. A faint scarp encloses a subcircular area (diam. c. 22m) that is covered with trees. Possibly a small rath or barrow.
