The National Monuments Service's description

On a N-S running ridge in undulating pastureland overlooking the Ballinure River to W. Marked on OS 6-inch maps as an oval enclosure immediately to NW of a church (GA087-211001-). It consists of an oval area (N-S 46m, E-W 30m) defined by a low degraded bank (Wth 2.7m, H 0.6m max.). This has been destroyed from E to SSE where the church and a small adjoining enclosure overlie it. A series of earthworks (GA087-211003-) is associated. (ASGAP 171:10)
