One of four barrows on Athenry golf course (GA083-066----; GA083-067----; GA083-068----; GA083-075----). Situated on level ground and now acting as a trap in front of the 1st green this circular ring-barrow (diam. 20m), in fair condition, comprises a central mound (diam. 5.2m) encircled by a fosse and external denuded bank. The central mound has been dug out from NW to E and is horseshoe-shaped in plan as a result. (Rynne 1991, 28)
