The National Monuments Service's description

On a NE-facing slope, c. 10m NE of a hilltop enclosure (GA071-046----). A well-built rectangular drystone two-roomed house (NE-SW; L 11.3m, Wth 5m), best preserved along SE and SW sides (H 1.8m); elsewhere the walls have collapsed. Adjoining it to SE is a hollow area (L c. 11m, Wth c. 5m) defined by collapsed walls along E and S sides. The interior is choked with collapse.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
