The National Monuments Service's description

In an area of marsh and reed swamp to W of Loch Trosca, and perhaps once formerly part of it. Poorly preserved low circular platform (D c. 20m) defined by much collapsed and subsided drystone wall. The siting and morphology display affinities with an island cashel. A number of other, more irregular, enclosures, heavily obscured by bog myrtle, lie off to NE on other patches of relatively dry land. (Topgr. Files, UCG)
