The National Monuments Service's description

In a D-shaped annexe adjoining a ringfort (GA046-044----). Just W of the quarry pit in the interior of the annexe is a stone-filled hollow (L 10m, Wth 3m) running N-S. According to local tradition, this marks 'the entrance into the fort'.
