The National Monuments Service's description

Located c. 140m to the E of St Flannann's medieval church (GA035-048001-) and graveyard (GA035-063----), this natural boulder is known as St Flannann's Bed. It is likely that it formed part of the pattern associated with the church and Toberflannann (GA035-048003-), which lies c. 175m to the WSW (information from M. Gibbons).
(Gosling 1993, 99).
