The National Monuments Service's description
On marginal land overgrown with rushes. No visible surface traces survive of a hachured feature marked on the 1931 edition of the OS 6-inch map and named 'Quarry' on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16). Probably of 19th/20th century date.
